Key Stage 1 Primary teacher

Dates: Apply by Friday 5 April 2024.   Job starts 1 August 2024

Contract type: Full time according to Danish rules for folkeskole teachers.

Contract term: Permanent position

In the International line we use Cambridge International Examinations curriculum including the Cambridge primary curriculum. 

We are looking for a compassionate, qualified, primary teacher with experience at Key Stage 1 (Years, 1, 2 and 3.) Having worked in an international school with students learning English as their second language would also be an advantage.  The vacant position is for a Year 2 class teacher. You should be able to teach the core subjects English, mathematics and science and be able to offer other subjects such as music, art and sport.

You should

  1. Be a qualified teacher
  2. Be a mother tongue English speaker
  3. Have EU citizenship or a work visa for Denmark.
  4. Have experience in Key Stage 1 teaching

Contract term: Temporary 2 year position

In the International line we use Cambridge International Examinations curriculum. We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience teaching in Key Stage 2 and 3. 

The vacant position is for a Year 6 class teacher with responsibility for core subjects and with math and history at year 7. Experience teaching Year 6 Checkpoint primary exams will be a strong advantage. The post is temporary, as it covers a teacher on study leave.

You should

  1. Be a qualified teacher
  2. Be a mother tongue English speaker
  3. Have EU citizenship or a work visa for Denmark.
  4. Have experience in Key Stage 2 teaching
