Cambridge International Exams

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION.  The following table shows results for students entered for this certificate at the end of Stage 11. To pass the certificate,  students must sit at least 7 IGCSE exams including two languages, mathematics, one or more science, one or more humanity and either Information Technology og Food and Nutrition.   Distinction means at least 5  ‘A’ grades. Merit means at least 5 ‘C’ grades. Pass means at least 7 IGCSE passes.

CHECKPOINT EXAMS taken at the end of Stage 9. All students in year 9 take the exams no matter what their level of English. The cohorts have grown in size as the department has grown, but up to 2015 ranged between 3 and 15 students. The results below are averages for the cohorts with 1 being the lowest grade and 6 representing the highest grade. There were no results for 2020 due to the Covid lockdown.
